DC Cahalane

DC Cahalane is a Venture Partner at SVV, leading the firm’s investments in Irish technology startups and supporting private investors in emerging AI companies. With over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience, he has founded four companies, driven growth at startups like Teamwork.com and Trustev, and established Cork’s largest innovation hub, Republic of Work. A passionate ecosystem builder, DC has helped over 1,000 startups worldwide, served as Group CMO at Dogpatch Labs, and advises the Irish Government on entrepreneurship and technology policy. He is also Venture Capitalist in Residence at University College Cork and is authoring We’re Doing This Wrong, a book on rethinking startup ecosystems in the AI era.
