Deirdre Ahern

Deirdre Ahern is Professor in Law and Director of the Tech, Law & Society Research Group at the School of Law Trinity College Dublin. She has particular expertise around ethics, policy and regulation for AI. She is advising government on policy as a member of Ireland’s AI Advisory Council and the National Science Advisory Forum. A regular national and international speaker on AI regulation and policy, Deirdre also advises boards on directors’ duties and the corporate governance implications of AI adoption.
